A lost child in a forest knows that it is lost and
fears that he or she will never be found. An adult
lost in a fast paced world does not know that he or
she is lost, and God often uses pain and loss to bring
them back home. Just as the prodigal son faced
physical starvation, Greg Matthews and Brad Kendrick
face spiritual starvation. It is through the kind and
loving spirits of Katherine and Erin that they are
brought back home to God in a world that has suddenly
become topsy turvy. Redemption and forgiveness are
keys to this story that proves that even the most
unforgivable can be forgiven. Pure joy awaits those
who face many trials, and I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me. (James 1:2 and Philippians
4:13)
